Anita Reynolds, a skilled artist in textiles and ceramics, graduated from NCAD in 1992 before teaching art for 25 years at Beaufort College, Navan. Now based in Ballivor, Co. Meath, she draws inspiration from nature, exploring the local landscape for her creations. Since 2020, Anita has dedicated herself full-time to her craft, operating from her studio adjacent to her home.

In her textile works, Anita employs batik techniques to create textured landscapes, finished with free machine and hand-embroidered details. Her ceramic pieces, inspired by native Irish trees and imprinted with Gaelic printers type, adorn both home and garden spaces.

Anita’s art has been showcased in prestigious exhibitions, including Solstice Arts Centre, Navan, and Sculpture in Context at the Botanic Gardens. Notably, she was commissioned to produce a textile wall piece for Kildalkey Ns, celebrating local history. Her work is displayed in galleries and design stores across Ireland.

An active member of various creative associations, Anita believes art should be a joyful experience. Inspired by luminaries like Georgia O’Keefe and Matisse, her vibrant creations reflect her passion for the natural world. Anita welcomes commissions, workshops, and involvement in art projects, eager to share her colorful and joyful artistry.
