On Saturday, 9th August, art lovers gathered for the much-anticipated opening of acclaimed artist Dave West’s latest solo exhibition, running until 18th August 2025. Guests enjoyed an evening of complimentary wine, live music, and the first look at a stunning collection of up to 25 new paintings.
Born in Penclawdd, South Wales, and now based in Ireland, West is renowned for his en plein air approach, capturing the Irish landscape directly from life. This new body of work reflects his deep connection to the coastline of the West of Ireland, with each canvas alive with shifting light, rich colour, and atmospheric depth.
The exhibition is a rare opportunity to experience West’s masterful interpretations of Ireland’s coastal beauty in person. For those unable to attend in person, the collection is also available to view online.
