A 23 meter diameter circle of granite standing stones catches light and whisks your mind back to ancient times. There is one large, separate outlier stone known as “The Piper”, which is perfectly aligned with the Winter Solstice and acts as a ritual calendar. It is said that the sound of sweet ethereal music played by the faerie folk can still be heard, emanating from the stones at night….. a remnant of the ancient ceremonies once held on the hilltop.
