Geraldine O'Mahoney
Artist Profile

Geraldine O’Mahoney finds painting relaxing as well as an opportunity to express her artistic flair. A sense of self satisfaction and bringing pleasure to other people is an important part of her motivation.

She paints primarily in oil but enjoys watercolour as well. Her background as a drafts person is clearly evident in the complexity and fine detail of her work. Geraldine admires many artists, but primarily the work of Peg Quinlan, especially for her fearless expression of colour. She paints at home in her studio and has exhibited at craft shows, libraries and banks. Her work, particularly her local scenes, is always in demand.
