Conor was born in Co. Dublin Ireland. From an early age he always had a deep interest in art and design, and a passion for the sea.

He studied illustration at the Design Institute of Technology in Dublin Ireland

Conor had a long professional career in the animation industry in Los Angeles, working as a layout and previsualization development artist for Dreamworks Animation, Warner Brothers, and Sony Pictures animation on such films as the Iron Giant and How to Train your Dragon among many others.

Since relocating to the bay area near San Francisco in 2015, Conor has focused his attention on painting landscapes of the northern Californian coast as well as diverse subject matter from the west coast of his native homeland from where he draws much of his inspiration. Many of his works also reflect his passion for seafaring themes, both current and nostalgic.

As his portfolio of original pieces grows, his style encompasses a range of subject matter and media, from realist to abstract, whether it be using oils or mixed media, rendered in bold, confident strokes and colours.
