Laurence O’Toole originally born and bred in Dublin, is now living and painting in Co. Carlow. His paintings challenge traditional ways of interpreting the many different landscapes of Ireland. He has a very unique and subtle way of blurring the boundaries between physical and fantasy, which offers dramatic interpretations of nature and elemental forces.
